Rosalinda G. Alay
Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner
As a nurse practitioner, my role is to assess, evaluate, diagnose and treat people experiencing respiratory illnesses and diseases. This includes patients with asthma, COPD, acute respiratory failure, interstitial lung diseases, sarcoidosis, COVId 19 as well as sleep apnea. I collaborate with the pulmonologist, other physicians and other nurse practitioners to improve the health of our patients
As a pulmonary nurse practitioner, I have advanced training and experience working with individuals with multiple respiratory conditions. One of my goals is to help patients breathe better and guide them on how to lead a better quality of life through lifestyle modifications and proper educations of the medications that they take for their pulmonary conditions
I have been in healthcare for over 30 years and have worked in Intensive Care for over 15 years. I completed my Masters of Nursing in South University, Savannah Georgia and my Doctorate in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona.
I love to travel and spend quality time with my family.

I am a board certified Nurse Practitioner, and I work at PGCF since December of 2020. I have great pleasure in providing patient care for last 23 years and I worked mostly in critical care and cardiovascular surgical ICUs in the US and abroad. I focuses on all facets of a person’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial well-being. Currently I treat people who needs pulmonary care and sleep disorders and I am proud of it.
I treat all my clients as family. I stay up to date with the recent researches and guidelines for the disease conditions and like to share new developments in treatments with my clients.
I did my RN in 2000, My BSN from grand canyon university in 2018 and MSN from south university in 2020 with magna cum laude.
I am also a member in American nurses association (ANA), and American nurses credentialing center (ANCC).
I like to spend time with my family, getting exercise, dancing, taking my children to sports activities.
